WATCH THIS! This is a modified record player made by Bartholomaus Traubeck that actually reads the year-rings of the cross section of a tree and translates that into music. I can hardly think of anything more beautiful than the thought of trees spending their whole lives composing these pieces of music. Just patiently waiting for some one to hear it.

Simply astounding.
